-Aide et Action, Cambodia-
Real Partnership in Action:
June 2016, 27 participants from different CCOSC partners including some public school teachers attended a four day training for Inclusive Education. This was a second part of an overall 9 day training on Inclusive Education.
The topics covered were: Multi-Lingual and Multi-cultural Education, Accelerated Learning, Teaching children with Autism, Specific Learning Difficulties, Intellectual Disabilities, Hearing and Visual Impairments. Aide et Action coordinated and provided over 2 days of the training and what was really good was that PSE, KAPE (who are partners of CCOSC) and Krousar Thmey trained in their area of expertise for the other 2 days.
The training was participatory and the feedback from reflection sessions held each day has been positive. Based on the feedback, we were able to incorporate what worked well but more importantly were able to respond briefly to any new learning that participants found difficult to understand.
This 9 day training will be repeated in the coming months for other CCOSC partner staff.
