Field Survey in Qingshen County for “Network and Development Strategy for Illiterate Women Coping With Risk in Globalization Process” project

February 25, 2015 by Aide et Action Southeast Asia

Supported by China Social Work Association, AEA China conducted the first field survey on the theme of Social Work Frame in Rural Women Education.

7

During this survey, we interviewed the stakeholders of the project, including 2 pilot village staff, 2 voluntary teachers (teachers from legal curriculum and bamboo weaving curriculum) and the Chief from local Women’s Federation(our main partner). Through these interviews we did not only get more project implementation information but also stakeholders’ further expectations about rural women education.

In the next few months, we will conduct more rounds of field surveys. Basing on this research, an academic report will be submitted to China Social Work Association, who might introduce our experience on rural women development education to other social work organization at national level. Besides, we will also set up an indicator system of the project by this research, which will help us improve rural women education in future.
