Aide et Action in Southeast Asia & China
It's our mission to advance the cause of education for all, especially for vulnerable people whose fundamental right to education is either not respected or in jeopardy. In 2018, Aide et Action supported 1,204,428, people of which 87,759 were in Cambodia, China, Laos and Vietnam.
Our goal is to overcome the barriers that stand in the way of access to knowledge and learning in Southeast Asia and China. Currently, we are carrying out 12 projects which all focus on one or more of these 5 themes:
Access and Quality of Education7 projects in Cambodia and Lao PDR. To ease access to education, and bring a pertinent quality response to the educational needs of each person.
Early Childhood Care & Education4 projects in Cambodia, China and Vietnam. To promote physical, psychological, social and cognitive development of children aged 0 to 6 with the family and community constituting the basic framework for child development.
Girls and Women Education3 projects in Cambodia, China and Vietnam. To promote the education of girls and women that can ultimately impact their lives, their leadership, and their socio-economic integration.
Inclusive Education2 projects in Cambodia and Vietnam. To enable the social integration of children with little or no access to quality education because of their socio-economic conditions or disability.
Livelihood Education2 projects in China and Cambodia. To enable young adults to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to live a life of dignity and to take part in their country’s economic development.
